SOCIETY OF THEMIS: HINTS

Best practice is to only use hints on questions you think you have all the information to answer but may be misinterpreting or need a little push to get over the finish line.

Click the black boxes for hints.
Click the purple box for the answer.

1. Did you hear about any websites on the news segment?

Head over to findtomshupere.com and start solving
1. Listen closely to that Newscast, it should give you a hint about what actions you need to take to find Tom's Youtube page.

2. Sign up to the mailing list on findtomshupere.com. A helpful message should arrive in your inbox.

3. There's something below the surface of that email. Try highlighting the text.

Tom's Youtube account is called The Supremo 611
1. You need to track the 8 locations we know Tom was at the day he disappeared. Start at his house and build a timeline. End at his house as well. Use the map legend numbers to form a code.

2. Pay close attention to the statements by the witnesses. They may change the order you think things happen in.

3. Now that you've figured out the order, check out the bottom of the page. It should hint you on what to do with the code you've built.

To get your login credentials for themisiswaiting.com look back at the first email you received in the game, with the news video attached.
1. There is a link hidden on this page. Look for a difference in the colour of some key words...

2. Coded messages are sometimes put behind ciphers. Check out who owns this Tik Tok account for a hint on which cipher you should use.

3. The bacon cipher asks you to use A and B to make other letters. Look up the symbols for A and B in American Sign Language. Build your message out of them. Don't forget to use Bacon's SECOND cipher, like it says in the Tik Tok user's bio. You can find it on wikipedia.

4. The caption of the video has some emojis and some numbers. Have you ever heard of an ISBN number? Look that up and get back to me.

The cipher spells out "town name" and the number in the caption leads you to the ISBN number for Arthur Miller's "The Crucible". The Crucible is a famous play that takes place in Salem. Salem is your answer.
1. Have you heard some famous Alchemist's names somewhere else in the game? Start there.

2. The Supremo read some poems aloud. How might you combine them?

3. The Supremo is spelling out a riddle for you. Listen closely for numbers. They may be disguised as homonyms.

4. The riddle emphasizes the numbers in it. Using the format of month/date/year, find out a significant place and event associated with that date. Google should help with the rest of your task.

Wai Momi is the native name of the Pearl Harbor base
1. Be sure to read through the entirety of the Warrior description. It has some important guidance.

2. You must make it through the whole conversation with each of the Warriors. If you get stuck somewhere its for a reason. Speak with someone else to advance.

3. If they ask if there is anything else they can help with, don't forget to ask each warrior for the password!

Once you decipher it's order, the password is "Eye of Zeus"
1. Check out what major scale this piece of music is in to get started. No musical ability required, only a quick google.

2. Use the c major scale to solve for the x's on the sheet music.

3. The Society of Themis is based on Greek myths. If you're unfamiliar do a little internet sleuthing to figure out who the composer of this piece is.

Orpheus
1. Tom gave some special instructions in that voice clip you heard after the missing person page. He said to keep following something as far as it goes...

Keep clicking the 0 in 404 to reveal a white rabbit and eventually the next page.
1. Have you ever seen anything written in dots like that?

2. Look up the braille alphabet to help you decipher whats in the dots. Note: Screenshotting or taking photos of them and splitting up the work with the team will be much faster. There are 11 words.

3. All of these words are simplified versions of 11 tasks in a very famous Greek myth. Think Disney....

4. Look up the labours of Hercules. You've deciphered 11 of the tasks. One is missing from your list. That labour has a proper name, which is also the password.

Cerberus
1. What do these buttons represent? Seen that anywhere?

2. Someone gave you a timeline of Themis' past leaders. Remember where?

3. On the fifth video on The Supremo's Youtube page he held up a whiteboard with some info on it. Use that to push the buttons in order.
